    Sweet and Sour Onions

    Aunt Saunny

    4 jumbo Vidalia onions, sliced
    1/2 cup melted butter
    1/2 cup boiling water
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    1/2 cup light brown sugar

    Place sliced onions in one quart baking dish. Mix other ingredients and pour over onions. Bake at 300 degrees for one hour.
