Melt (2 tbs. butter) in skillet. Add (1 chopped onion) and (1 tsp. chopped garlic) and saute 5 min. until golden. Add (1/4 cup dry white wine), bring to a simmer. Add (4 cups frozen green peas), cook 5 min. or until hot. Add (1/2 cup coarsely chopped pimientos), (4 leaves romaine lettuce), cut in narrow strips,(1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper). Stir until lettuce wilts. Place in serving bowl. MAKES 6 SERVINGS.*
