Fried Potatoes and Onion

1 Tbs. olive oil
1 ounce butter
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. small potatoes, thinly sliced into rounds
salt and pepper
Heat oil and butter in frying pan, add onion and fry on medium-low heat until soft. Add potatoes with salt and pepper to taste. Fry until golden, turning as needed. Transfer topaper towels on plate to drain before ready to serve.
