3 lg Turnips; peeled and sliced
Sugar
Butter
Recipe
Peel and slice turnips. Cook in a little salted water until just tender. Do not overcook which may cause graying. Sauté in butter until golden, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle on a little sugar and cook until sugar melts.
