Candied Yams

~~~Sauce~~~
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix sauce ingredients in a heavy pan. Stirring constantly, cook until
mixture boils.
Add to a 9" x 13" baking pan:
6 sweet potatoes or yams, peeled, cooked and sliced (or you can use
drained canned, sliced yams)
Pour sauce over the top of the sweet potatoes/yams. Bake in a
preheated 350 º F., oven until it bubbles, about 20 to 25 minutes.
