    Aunt Saunny

    30 pounds ground deer meat
    1 pound Tender Quick® seasoned meat tenderizer
    1 ounce black pepper
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 ounce salt
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    1 1/2 teaspoons mace
    3 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring

    Mix Tender Quick®, Meat tenderizer, pepper, sugar, salt, garlic salt and mace. Add to ground meet. Mix real well. Put through a grinder. Press into loaf pans cover with foil--poke one tiny hole in the center of each pans foil cover
    where steam will escape and cook for 3 1/2---4 hours. at 300 degrees. Let cool and wrap each loaf tightly in cling wrap and freeze. You may slice beforehand and package as to your liking. Makes 29 pounds.
