They have said that you can make gravy using
most drippings or stock.
So one day years ago I had tried Shake-N-Bake original for chicken, when it first came out and while the chicken was cooking I came up with this idea...Why not?
1 Box shake-n-Bake original
Chicken of any choosing with skin
1-2 cups water
Flour or cornstarch
Now heres the tricky part because when it comes to making gravy I never measure anything.
What ever thickening agent you use is up to you.
Make it for 1 to 2 cups of gravy
Recipe
Cook your chicken as you do according to the box directions
plus 5 to 10 mins longer.
When done take chicken off baking pan.
(I use a cookie sheet with an edge.)
Set baking pan on top of stove covering 2 burners.
add 1 cup warm water to pan (this will make the stock)
turn burners to between low and medium.
I use a spatula to stir scraping the pan.
Once this is done transfer the stock to a small pot
add in your thickening agent and woola! you have gravy.
Note: The flavor can seem abit strong to some so just add more water and agent till it's to your likings.
Also it seems abit blan to some till they add salt and pepper to it.
