    Source of Recipe

Modified recipe from The National Honey Board

    Recipe Introduction

I used this recipe on a crew and I was hounded for the recipe so they could bring it home with them.
    Servings: 3
    Cuisine: Asian

    List of Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 3 3/4 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 3 3/4 tablespoons lime juice
    • 3 3/4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
    • 1 cup sesame seed oil
    • 1/4 cup seseme seeds
    • 3 3/4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 7/8 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
    • 1 7/8 teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
    • 7 1/2 4-ounce Salmon Steaks or other firm white fish (Swordfish etc.)

    Instructions

    1. Combine all ingredients except salmon in small bowl; mix well. Place fish in shallow baking dish; pour marinade over fish. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
    2. Remove fish from marinade. Grill over medium-hot coals or broil fish about 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish turns opaque and flakes easily when tested with fork.

    3. Note: With the remaining marinade, add teriyaki sauce and cornstarch and heat to the right consistancy. Serve with the fish
