    Pickled Garlic

    In a quart jar put:

    * Peeled garlic cloves
    * 1 tsp salt
    * 1/3 tsp basil
    * 1/3 tsp oregano
    * pinch of red pepper
    Fill pint jar with white vinegar

    Pour contents into pan, add about 1/3 cup more white vinegar. Boil. Pour back into pint jar, seal and store in refrigerator. If you make a bunch at once you can hot pack/seal the pints and they will store on your pantry shelf until opened.

    Very healthy for you. Great to just grab one to munch on. Good on sandwiches too. Do not leave the house or become amorous shortly after eating one ;)
