Fried Vermicelli

List of Ingredients
- 1 bag nested vermicelli
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 pint canned tomatoes
- 1 small can chopped green chiles
- 1 cup water
- salt & pepper to taste
- garlic powder & cumin to taste
Instructions
- Brown vermicelli in a bit of oil; add onion and cook until tender.
- Add tomatoes, green chiles, water and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer until pasta is al dente.
Final Comments
3-4 fresh tomatoes may be substituted for canned, and 3-4 fresh chiles for canned (then you would add the diced chiles when you add the chopped onion)
