    Fried Vermicelli

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 bag nested vermicelli
    • 1 small chopped onion
    • 1 pint canned tomatoes
    • 1 small can chopped green chiles
    • 1 cup water
    • salt & pepper to taste
    • garlic powder & cumin to taste


    Instructions


    1. Brown vermicelli in a bit of oil; add onion and cook until tender.

    2. Add tomatoes, green chiles, water and seasonings.

    3. Cover and simmer until pasta is al dente.



    Final Comments


    3-4 fresh tomatoes may be substituted for canned, and 3-4 fresh chiles for canned (then you would add the diced chiles when you add the chopped onion)
