List of Ingredients
- 1 chuck roast
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 onion, minced
- 3 or 4 bay leaves
- 1 - 2 tsp. granulated beef bouillon
- water as needed
- egg noodles as needed
Instructions
- Place roast in crockpot; top with bay leaves and the minced onion.
- Cook on low setting for about 10 hours.
- Remove bay leaves and pour off juices into a large saucepan, add bouillon and water to make 1 or 1½ quarts.
- Bring to boiling and add noodles; cook until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Dice or shred as much of the roast as desired, and add to noodles.
- Serve over mashed potatoes.
