    List of Ingredients


    • 1 chuck roast
    • salt & pepper to taste
    • 1 onion, minced
    • 3 or 4 bay leaves
    • 1 - 2 tsp. granulated beef bouillon
    • water as needed
    • egg noodles as needed


    Instructions


    1. Place roast in crockpot; top with bay leaves and the minced onion.
    2. Cook on low setting for about 10 hours.
    3. Remove bay leaves and pour off juices into a large saucepan, add bouillon and water to make 1 or 1½ quarts.
    4. Bring to boiling and add noodles; cook until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
    5. Dice or shred as much of the roast as desired, and add to noodles.
    6. Serve over mashed potatoes.
