Fresh Tomato Pie

List of Ingredients
- 1 deep dish pie crust
- 2 extra-large red ripe tomatoes
- salt & pepper to taste
- fresh basil
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Bake the crust for 5 minutes at 450°.
- Slice the tomatoes into the pie shell; sprinkle with salt, pepper and a handful of chopped fresh basil.
- Mix grated cheese and mayonnaise together and spread over top of pie.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes at 400°.
