5 inch wheel Brie Cheese
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup pecan halves
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 Tbsp butter
Baguette slices, multi-grain crackersRecipe
Remove and discard top rind of cheese;place on a large serving plate and set aside.
Combine brown sugar and water in a sauce pan over med heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until mixture is dark brown and reduced in half. Remove from heat; add pecans and cream stirring well. Return to a simmer, cook until slightly thickened, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Spoon caramel mixture over cheese surround by baguette slices or crackers
