    Recipe Introduction


    These hearty treats were my husbands favorite when we were first going together, they still are, 15 years later!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 oz pkg onion soup mix
    • 2 1/3 cup water, divided
    • 2 cup biscuit baking mix
    • 3 Tbsp butter, melted
    • 15 oz can corned beef hash
    • 1/4 tsp pepper


    Instructions


    1. Combine soup mix and 2 cups water in an ungreased 9x9 baking dish; bake at 400 degrees until boils. Set aside .
    2. Stir baking mix, remaining water and butter together to form a soft dough. kneed 8 to 10 times on a floured surface.
    3. Roll out dough into a 12x8 inch rectangle; spread hash over dough to within 1/2 inch of the edges.

    4. Sprinkle with pepper and roll up jelly-roll style .
    5. Cut into 9 slices ; arrange slices cut side down in pan over hot soup mixture.
    6. Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
    7. Serves 4-6
