    Delicious served with sliced honey ham

    List of Ingredients




    1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    3 eggs, seperated
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1/3 cup oil
    1 cup frozen corn, thawed
    Garnish: Butter, Maple Syrup

    Recipe



    Combine flour, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center. Whisk together egg yolks, buttermilk, oil and corn;add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moist; set aside.

    In a seperate bowl, beat egg whites with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form; fold into batter. Spoon by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased waffle iron;bake according to mfg instructions until golden.

    Makes 10 4 inch waffles.
