    Recipe Introduction


    Hearty and filling...afterwards you'll be ready for a brisk hike in the woods!

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb ground pork sausage
    2 Tbsp All purpose flour
    1 1/2 cup milk
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    20 oz pkg frozen shredded hashbrowns
    4 green onions, chopped and divided
    1 1/4 cup Shredded cheddar sharp cheese, divided

    Recipe



    Brown sausage in a skillet over med heat, about 5 min. Drain.

    Sprinkle Flour over sausage , stirring to combine; cook for one minute. Slowly add milk, bring to a boil, stirring often until mixture thickens.

    Simmer for about 5 minutes; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange frozen hashbrowns in a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Top with 2/3 of green onions and one cup of shredded cheese. Add Sausage mixture; sprinkle with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 350 until hashbrowns are tender, about 45 minutes.

    Garnish with remaining onions.

    Serves 6-8
