Nevada Pumpkin Pie

List of Ingredients
2-½ cups fresh pumpkin
½ cup water
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cloves
1.8 tsp allspice
½ cup raisins, chopped
Prepare pumpkin as for vegetable. Mash the pulp, add sugar, salt, spices and raisins.
Line pie pan with pastry and fill with mixture. Bake 10 minutes in a quick oven and continue baking in a moderate oven until firm.
Canned pumpkin may be used and ½ cup milk and 1 egg may be added to the above if necessary.
