List of Ingredients
6 or 8 yams
6 or 8 yellow delicious apples
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp salt
2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup butter
Recipe
Parboil yams, peel and cut into pieces. Pare apples and slice. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Add boiling water and butter, stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Butter casserole dish and place yams and apples in casserole in layers. Pour sauce over. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
