    1 large can tomato juice
    1 large can V-8 juice
    1 large can crushed tomatoes, drained
    Jalapeno pepper, finely chopped (use them according to the amount of heat you want in the salsa)
    Chopped fresh cilantro (to taste)
    lime juice (to taste)
    Finely chopped garlic (to taste)
    salt
    pepper

    I think these are the basic ingredients. I hope I haven't left anything out. It makes quite a bit but it will keep in the fridge at least a week.
