1 Quart Strawberries
1 Pint Red Wine
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Orange, Juice and grated rind

Clean and wash the strawberries; add the wine, sugar, orange juice and rind. Let stand in a cool place for 4 hours, stirring at least once an hour. Serve cold, accompanied with sponge cake or lady fingers.
