Recipe Introduction
5 - 6 lb beef tenderloin
1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp lemon juice
salt
freshly ground pepper, you'll want to use lots of it
Preheat oven to 500F
Allow tenderloin to come to room temp.
To the softened butter, add crushed garlic, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice , Salt and pepper. Spread this on the the tenderloin.
Cook uncovered on a baking sheet for 23 min. Remove from oven, wrap meat in foil and allow to rest for 20 minutes. Unwrap immediately to discontinue cooking.
Serves 10 or more.
