Hollow out some oranges by cutting tops off, then scraping out most of the center with a sharp knife. It's ok if some of the orange is left inside, it will add to the flavor.

Pour cake batter into the orange cups, filling them half full. Replace the lids and then wrap in foil and bake over hot coals bout 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
