    List of Ingredients




    5-6 slices bacon
    2 Tbsp flour
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 egg
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup lemon juice
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1-1 1/2 quart sliced, cooked Potatoes

    dice bacon;fry until delicately brown, then drain on paper towel. Pour excess fat from pan, reserving at least 1/4 cup. To reserved fat in skillet, add flour, sugar, salt, pepper and onion. Blend well. Beat egg slightly then add vinegar, water and lemon juice. add to mixture in skillet. cook and stir until thickened. Add bacon and stir well. Dip cooked potatoes in mixture and place in a 2 quart bowl. serve warm.
