Garlic Dill Pickles

For a different pickle, try substituting fresh rosemary or tarragon for dill.
List of Ingredients
13-1/2 cup White Vinegar
13-1/2 cup Water
2-1/4 Cup Salt
1-1/2 Cup Pickling Spices
10 lbs Cucumbers, 2 to 3" long, throughly cleaned
12 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
15 stems of fresh dill Recipe
Combine the vinegar, water, salt and spices into a brine and bring to a boil in a large pot. Fill sterilized one-quart jars with the cucumbers, garlic, and dill and cover with the hot brine. Leave half-inch at the top of each jar. Wipe the rims carefully and seal the jars. (Follow the manufacturers directions for processing the jars before canning)
