List of Ingredients
6 slices bacon, cut into julienne strips
6 scallions, washed and sliced, include tops
1 medium size cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
¾ cup water
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Brown the bacon in a large, heavy skillet. Add scallions and sauté until golden.
Place the wedges into the skillet; add water, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 35 minutes, turn occasionally with fork or tongs. Serve hot.
