    List of Ingredients




    2 Cups cooked rice
    1 lb ground beef
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1/2 cup diced onion
    2 pkgs powdered beef or chicken bouillon
    2 16 oz cans tomato sauce with herbs
    2 tsp salt (or to taste)
    4 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 lb grated, cheddar cheese

    Recipe



    In a non-stick skillet, brown ground beef. In a casserole dish, combine meat with cooked rice and 1 package of bouillon. Add salt, chili powder , pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well. Layer cabbage on top of meat and rice. Sprinkle onions over cabbage. Sprinkle secind package of boullion on top.

    Cover with herbed tomato sauce. Cover casserole and bake in over at 350F 45 minutes.

    remove cover, add cheddar cheese, and continue baking just to melt cheese.

    Cheese should be just melted, not browned. Serve piping hot from casserole.

    serves 6
