    Lynn made this candy/cookie for an afternoon get together and they were a hit!

    List of Ingredients




    1- 1/4 sleeves of saltines or 5 or 6 matzos
    1 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 bag milk chocolage chips (Ghirardelli)
    1/3 cup slivered almonds

    Recipe



    Cover a jellyroll pan with saltines or matzos. If using matzos, sprinkle with salt.
    Melt butter and brown sugar together until creamy.
    Spread evenly over the crackers.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
    Return to oven for 2 minutes.
    Spread melted chocolate and sprinkle with almonds.
    Cool to room temperature.

    Refrigerate until set.
    Break into pieces.
