Salmon with Puff Pastry and Pesto

4 pieces of purchased puff pastry
4 pieces salmon
1/4 cup sliced almonds (if desired)
1/4 cup purchased pesto
2 tomatoes, slicedRecipe
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
On a foil-lined baking sheet, place the 4 pieces of puff pastry.
Put the 4 pieces of salmon (not touching) on the foil lined baking sheet (season as you like and top with 1 tbsp almonds if desired). Bake for 10 minutes.
To serve:
Put each piece of puff pastry on a plate. Spread 1 tbsp of pesto on the pastry. Put two slices of tomatoes on each, then top with the salmon and serve.
