Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

A favorite from the 1996 Otteman Family Reunion.
List of Ingredients
2 cups crushed pretzels
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
1/3 cup pecans -- coarsely chopped
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
1 cup sugar
9 ounces whipped topping
6 ounces strawberry gelatin powder
2 cups boiling water
2 boxes frozen strawberries -- 10 ozRecipe
Mix pretzels, sugar, butter and nuts together. Press into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350. Cool. Combine cream cheese, sugar and whipped topping. Spread over first layer. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add strawberries. When 75% confealed, put on the cream layer. Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving. Crust does not get soft if kept refrigerated.
