    Chocolate Crackles

    Dough requires several hours refrigeration before baking.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 2 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 cups flour
    • 2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 cup powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Melt chocolate, blend with oil and sugar.
    2. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    3. Add vanilla, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. The dough will be more like batter until it is chilled.
    4. Chill dough for several hours.
    5. Shape into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar.
    6. Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 350o for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing cookies from the pan.
