    Aunt Beanies Pickled Asparagus

    List of Ingredients

    Boil for 15 minutes
    recipe number one:
    2 qts white vinegar
    3 qts water
    4 Tblsp pickling spice
    10 Tblsp salt
    or

    recipe number two:
    Boil for 15 minutes
    5 cups water
    2 cups white vinegar
    3 1/2 Tblsp canning salt

    Recipe

    You put the same ingredients in the jar the liquid mixture is different. I like the one without pickling spice it is very garlicky.

    In each qt jar
    2 fresh dill
    2 garlic cloves
    put fresh washed asparagus heads up
    fill jar with boiling vinegar, water mixture
    can add more garlic and hot pepper.
    put lids on.
    can wrap in newspaper.
    Ready to eat in 2 months.
