    German Chocolate Upside Down Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup shredded coconut
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 1 box german chocolate cake mix
    • 1 stick margarine
    • 1 (6oz) cream cheese
    • 1 (16 oz) box confectioners sugar


    Instructions


    1. Combine coconut and nuts and put in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan.

    2. Prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions and pour over coconut pecan mixture.

    3. Place margarine and cream cheese in warm sauce pan and heat until warm enough to stir in confectioners sugar.

    4. Mix well and spoon over top of cake mix.

    5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

    6. Do not cut until cooled. Only individual pieces can be served upside down on platter.

    7. Whole cake is too sticky.
