Red Cherry- Banana Pie

List of Ingredients



• 1 lb pitted tart red cherries
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 3 Tblsp cornstarch
  
• 1Tblsp butter
  
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  
• 1/2 tsp almond flavoring
  
• 3 medium bananas
  
• 1 cup whipped cream whipped until stiff
  
• Make and bake one 9 inch pie shell
  






Instructions



1. Boil cherries juice, sugar and cornstarch together until thick and clear stirring constantly.
   
   
2. Add butter and cool.Blend in cinnamon and flavoring.
   
   
3. Place layers of sliced bananas in pie shell, pour cherry filling over banans and chill.
   
   
4. Top with whipped cream.
