    Dough
    3 cups sifted flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup shortening
    1 egg yolk beaten
    add enough milk to egg to make 2/3 cup



    1 cup corn flakes
    8 apples
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon

    Recipe



    Roll half of dough in cookie pan. 15 x 10
    Put cornflakes, apples, sugar and cinnamon over dough.
    Put top crust on.
    Make holes in it with a fork.
    Whip up 1 egg white, spread over top.
    Bake 375 degrees for 50 minutes
    After cooled, spread mixture of:
    powdered sugar and milk over top.
    Cut into squares
