Recipe Introduction


This recipe was probably handed down to Aunt Marlene from her mom or her grandmother.





List of Ingredients



• 4 1/2 cups flour
  
• 1 tsp baking soda
  
• 1 tsp salt
  
• 2 tsp cinnamon
  
• 1 cup honey
  
• 1/2 cup sugar
  
• 1/2 cup milk
  
• 3 Tblsp melted shortening
  
• 1/2 tsp vinegar
  
• 1 egg (well beaten)
  






Instructions



1. Cook honey, sugar, milk, shortening and vinegar. Do not boil. Let Cool.
   
2. Add egg,then dry ingredients and mix.
   
3. Refrigerate overnight.
   
4. Set out for one hour. roll into cookies
   
5. Bake 350 degrees. 10 - 12 minutes.
