    List of Ingredients

    Boil together for 2 minutes and cool
    2 cups red wine
    1 1/3 cups sugar

    add
    1 cups oil
    6 eggs beaten

    add dry ingredients together then add to above
    7 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    5 cups flour you may need more flour but start with 5.

    Recipe

    When mixing dough it will feel oily. The oil keeps the dough from using too much flour. As you roll it out, roll out into a rope about 1 inch diameter. Cut about 1 1/2 inches long. Run along the side of a grater on the large holes. Makes dimples on roll. Put into electric wok with oil cook on hot, 400 degrees. Cook about 10 minutes turning till they are dark brown. Take out drain.


    Put the Tords in the hot honey mixture turning to let the Tords absorb the honey a couple of minutes. Take out put on wax paper sprinkle lightly with a sugar cinnamon mixture.


    The honey mixture is as follows:
    Cook 1/2 cup sugar into 1/4 cup water on stove until it gets syrupy. Add 1 cup honey cook until it gets a little color to it.
