Cheeseburger Soup

List of Ingredients

brown 1 pound hamburger drain
set aside
3 cups chicken stock
4 cups diced potatoes
3/4 cup diced carrots
3/4 cup chopped celery
1 med onion
1 Tblsp basil
saute' carrots, celery, onion in butter 3-4 minutes, add potatoes and spices and chicken stock. Boil for 10 minutes then simmer.
Melt
3 Tblsp butter then add
3 Tblsp flour make roux
Add to soup
Add 1 1/2 cup milk
Add 8 oz American cheese cubed
Add hamburger and enjoy
