    This is a delicious cold weather dish. Serve it straight from the roast pan with mounds of mashed potatoes and home canned applesauce.


    List of Ingredients




    Baked Pork and Sauerkraut

    1 pork roast
    27-ounces sauerkraut
    3 cups water

    Place pork roast in center of roast pan. Arrange sauerkraut around meat. Pour water over all.

    Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 2-1/2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the pork roast. Add more water if sauerkraut dries during baking.

    Makes 4 to 6 servings
