This is good and one of my favorites for quick preparation and short baking time.
List of Ingredients
Barbecued Meat Balls
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1 cup cracker crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Combine meat, egg, 3/4 cup crumbs, salt, pepper, and onion. Mix well.
Mix together sugar, ketchup, nutmeg, and mustard. Add half of this sauce to meat mixture. Mix well. Shape meat mixture into 6 balls and place in 3-inch muffing cups. Top balls with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Makes 6 meatballs
