Caesar Steak Sandwich
6 T mayonnaise
5 T Girard’s Caesar Dressing
freshly ground pepper
4 demi baguettes, sliced in half
1 clove garlic
4 ribeye steaks, cut 1/4 inch ( about 4-5 ounces)
3 T Char Crust Roasted Garlic Peppercorn Rub
1/2 C shaved Parmesan cheese
3 Roma tomatoes, sliced
4 romaine leaves
Preparation:
In small bowl combine mayonnaise, Caesar dressing and pepper. Set aside.
Grill or toast baguettes, rub surface with garlic.
Rub Char Crust into both sides of steaks. Preheat grill or grill pan. Grill steak 1-1 1/2 minutes per side. Remove from grill.
Spread each side of baguettes with Caesar mixture. Place steak on bottom half of baguette. Top with cheese, tomato and romaine. Place top of baguette over and serve.
