I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spread
1/2 cup finely chopped shallots or onion(s)
1 medium red bell pepper(s), finely chopped
1 rib celery, finely chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
1 can(14-3/4 oz.) chicken broth
1 jar (26 oz.) Bertolli® Tomato & Basil with Fresh Tomatoes Pasta Sauce
1 jar (16 oz.) Bertolli® Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon Marsala wine (optional)
1. In 3-quart saucepan, melt Spread over medium-high heat and cook shallots, red pepper, celery and garlic, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in broth and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 4 minutes. Stir in Pasta Sauces and white pepper. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until heated through. Stir in wine and simmer 3 minutes.
