    3 large potatoes
    3/4 cup water
    2 1/2 T. butter
    1/8 t. garlic powder
    1 t. dried parsley or 1 T. fresh, chopped parsley
    1/4 t. salt

    Wash the potatoes well. Cut into 1/4" thick slices. In a jelly roll pan,
    place sliced potatoes in a single layer. Add water. Bake 10 minutes at 375.
    Increase cooking temperature to 450 to brown, cook about 5 to 7 more minutes.
    Meanwhile, in a small pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 2
    minutes. Stirring until golden. Pour over potatoes, add parsley and salt, and toss
    to coat.
    Serves 6
