    Homemade Crescent Rolls

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pkgs dry yeast
    • 3/4 c warm water
    • 1/2 c sugar
    • 1 t salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 c shortening or margarine
    • 4 c flour
    • margarine (for spreading)


    Instructions




    1. Mix yeast, sugar, salt and 2 c flour. Melt margarine in water. Pour over dry mix. Beat. Add eggs. Beat. Stir in 2 c of flour. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Roll out on floured surface into 2 circles. Spread with margarine. Cut 12 wedges from each circle. Roll into crescents. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees 12-15 min. Brush with margarine.
