Golden Nugget Meat Pie

List of Ingredients
1 (16 ounce)Can of diced tomatoes
1 beaten egg
2 slices of bread
3 Tablespoons of Ketchup
2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion and or use onion powder
1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Pound ground beef (more if you have a bigger family)
2 Tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (12 ounce) Can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 Teaspoon dried basil leaves crushed (we used parsely)
Recipe
1. (You can precook your meat in skillet first if you chose but, you
do not have to.)Mix the egg, bread, ketchup, onion, worcestershire
sauce in bowl.
2. Then add your meat to the bowl, mix well.
3. You can use a pie pan for this but, I would recommend a round
casserole dish and or a aluminum cake pan.
4. Press your meat mixture into your pan that you are using, then
bake at 350 for 30 minutes (drain grease) then cook a little longer
til almost no pink at all.
5. In the meantime mix tomatoes, corn, basil or parsely in bowl, mix
well.
6. Then once meat is fairly done add your tomato and corn mixture to
the top..(after draining any more grease)
7. Fill the pan with the corn mixture. Then return to oven to bake 15-
30 minutes longer. Until meat is done (no longer pink.)
8. Enjoy.
Increase ingredients if you have guests or a bigger family.
It will cost approximately for a family of 6 $5.00 to make this meal.
