Cream Cheese Mints
1 Pkg. 8 0z Cream Cheese
1/4 c Butter or Marg.
2 lbs. Powder Sugar
Few drops of food coloring of your choice
1/2 t. Peppermint Extract
Combine cream cheese, and butter in heavy sauce pan (I use a non-
stick pot}. Stir over low heat until cheese is soft, butter is
melted and blended with cream cheese.
Remove from heat
Add powdered sugar and mix well. (I have to use my hands to mix it
after the initial mixing).
Add flavor to dough and knead it in well. Divide dough and add
desired colors. Cover dough not in use with plastic wrap.
Shape as desired. Let stand in room air for 4 hours or over night.
