    With garlic bread and a crisp, green salad, this makes a delicious, easy meal we enjoy often.

    .

    8 ounces ziti

    1 pound lean ground beef

    1 small onion, chopped

    2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped

    1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes, undrained

    1 can (16 ounces) tomato sauce

    1 tsp. oregano

    1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    2 tbsp. dried parsley

    .

    1. Cook ziti in boiling, salted water according to package directions; drain.

    2. Lightly brown beef and onion in a saucepan. Pour off any excess fat. Add garlic, tomatoes with can liquid, tomato sauce and oregano. Simmer for 15 minutes.

    3. Preheat oven to 350º.

    4. Mix cooked ziti and sauce together in a 2-1/2-quart baking dish. Combine Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses; sprinkle lightly over ziti mixture. Sprinkle with parsley.

    5. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly. Yield: 6 servings.
