    Baked Ham

    Source of Recipe

    MadMan
get a fairly lean ham and stab it repeatedly with a big fork like ya would an in-law... throw it in a big dish/pot thing... pour in a pint of orange juice and a handful of REAL maple syrup (not that log cabin or aunt jemima crap)... add grease from that mornings bacon... add in some ground cloves and a touch of worchestershire. Dump half a small container of honey right over the chunk of pig butt and rub it in like you just got out of prison and your touching butt for the first time in years... use your hands... yeah... get funky with it! Cover it all up with tin foil and cook that for 30 minutes per pound at about 325... every half hour or so take the foil off, turn and baste and put more honey on. When you think your done... take off the foil and put on the last bit of honey and smoke that sucker for another half hour at about 400 degrees.

for a quick side dish... Betty Crocker Scalped or Scalded potatoes... half way through cooking them... throw on a layer of crushed Ritz crackers... finish cooking and it's just that easy.

You'll thank me later it'll be the sweetest, juiciest ham you've ever had.
