    Cheddar Rosemary Muffins

    Cheddar Rosemary Muffins

    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 T. baking powder
    1/2 t. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter melted
    1 egg
    2 oz. (1/2cup) Cheddar Cheese, shredded
    4 t. chopped fresh rosemary*

    Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
    Combine milk, butter and egg in small bowl until well mixed.
    Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
    Gently stir in cheese and rosemary.
    Spoon batter into greased or paper lined 12 -cup muffin pan.
    Bake for 13 to 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Serve warm.

    NOTE: * Substitute 1 teaspoon dried rosemary for fresh.
    Nutritional values: 1 muffin.
