    Cornmeal Sage Muffins

    Cornmeal Sage Muffins

    2 c. self-rising cornmeal mix
    1.75 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil or melted shortening
    1 t. dried sage

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
    Grease muffin pans or use paper liners.
    Prepare batter in order listed; blend well.
    Pour the batter into prepared pans.
    Bake 15-2- minutes.
    Makes 12 muffins or you can make them in mini-muffin pans.
