    Peppermint Candy Cand Muffins

    Peppermint Candy Cane Muffins

    1 package yellow cake mix, without pudding
    2 candy canes, broken up (I place them in a plastic bag
    and use a hammer.)

    Prepare cake batter as directed on package.
    Remove from beaters, and fold in finely crushed peppermint candy
    by hand. Add 1 t. dried peppermint leaves and mix well.
    Fill muffin cups 1/2 full.
    Bake as directed on package for muffins, and ice if desired when cool.
    ( I have served them plain and they taste just as good.)
